ANOINTING OIL

So what exactly is anointing oil and how is it used? Anointing oil was used by the prophets in biblical times to do just that: anoint new kings. It was also used by Levites in temple service. Reference to using anointing oil to pray for the sick is made in the new testament, as well (James 5:14.) Today, members of the charismatic denomination use it to anoint themselves and their homes.

Anointing oil is used as a contact point between believers and YHVH. It is strictly in a symbolic sense: there is nothing special about the oil itself, it simply represents the precious blood of Christ. That being said, let me first tackle the most common question: do I need to purchase special oil sold through a ministry?

The better question would be, should you? And the answer is no. Most of these ministries selling special anointing oil will refer to a recipe in Exodus 30:22-25. This verse specifically states that the oil was used by Levites to minister to the Lord (Exodus 30:26-33). The same goes for special recipe incense (verses 34-38). It is a very specific recipe that was only to be mixed and used by the Levites in the tabernacle for the honor and glory of God. YHVH strictly forbid the exact recipe to be used by anyone else outside of His holy temple. Some christians believe that under the new covenant we are God’s temple and can use this oil. I beg to differ. So then, what can I use to anoint myself and my home?

You can buy a bottle of extra virgin olive oil from your local supermarket. Remember, there is absolutely nothing special about the oil itself. It is just symbolic. Pray over it, offer it up to YHVH and ask Him to bless it, cover it with the blood of Jesus and you’re good to go. From what I have studied and discerned the oil used to anoint kings, prophets and the sick later on was simply pure extra virgin oil. Some christians don’t see the point in anointing themselves or their homes, but as someone who is called into the deliverance ministry and faces spiritual warfare on a regular basis I can attest to its benefits. Think of it as an extra lock on the door (Exodus 12:7, Leviticus 8:10, Ezekiel 43:20).

Whenever you move into a new space or purchase property, anoint that space (walk the perimeter of the property and anoint each side) and remit the sins committed there by the previous owner/resident. Break any curses spoken over it and ask the Holy Spirit to reveal any cursed objects left behind, either deliberately or by mistake. Lastly, assign guardian angels around the perimeter of your property and inside your home.

How do you anoint your home? First, anoint yourself: dab some olive oil on your forehead and simply say, “I cover myself with the blood of Christ.” You can carry the bottle around with you from room to room or you can pour some out into your hand and dip your finger in it. A simple dab will do. Anoint the floors and all four corners of each room. Anoint each mirror and window. Anoint each bed and pillow. Anoint your television and computer screens, plus your Ipod, Ipad and tablet. Anoint the walls and floors of each closet. Anoint both sides of each door, as well as all four sides of the thresholds, left and right, top and bottom.

If you have children anoint their toys and books. It doesn’t have to be one by one (though I do recommend it): you can anoint their toy chest and bookcase. Each time you anoint repeat, “I cover (object) with the blood of Christ.” During the process the Holy Spirit may bring your attention to a certain object that He is telling you to get rid of. Be obedient. When you are done, say out loud and with authority, “Any presence not of the Lord Jesus Christ, every squatter and scavenger must leave my home right now. You have no legal right over my family/me. Leave and never return.”

It would be wonderful if this is the one and only time that you will ever need to anoint your home, but with guests, unsaved loved ones and our own pet sins we need to put down you can be certain the spiritual atmosphere in your home will need regular cleansing. Fasting and prayer will also work wonders for your home’s spiritual atmosphere. Submit your flesh to your spirit and live a life of holiness. I pray this blesses you.

MORNING PRAYER

Father, I cover my family, friends, neighbors, church family, social media families and myself with the precious blood of Jesus. I put the full armor on us, head to toe, front and back. I cancel every plan, attack and assignment of the enemy for us all today in the mighty name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Put a hedge of protection around us-the wall of fire as stated in Zechariah 2:5. Protect our eye gates and ear gates. I cover every home, school, business, workplace and method of transportation with the blood of Christ. Heavenly Father, please assign guardian angels to surround each property and method of transportation. Take us safely to our destination, bring us safely back home.Father, protect us from the evil one. Give us this day our daily bread, and help us to forgive others so that You may forgive us. I pray we are light in the darkness. I bless our food today and break any curses spoken over it. I cast out any harmful item placed in our food, whether in the natural or in the spirit. Protect us from all witchcraft, Lord; reveal to us any witch looking to do harm and deal with them swiftly. Remove any ungodly “friends” from our path and replace them with godly friendships. We are blessed in the city and blessed in the field. In the precious name of Jesus Christ I pray, amen.

THE FULL ARMOR

Be sure to dress in your full armor every morning. Dress your spouse and children, as well. (Bible verses taken from the KJV.)

For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ-Galatians 3:27

But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, to fulfill the lusts thereof-Romans 13:14

Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done, to stand. Stand, therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; and your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God-Ephesians 6:10-17

Lets take a closer look at this armor. First of all, the Apostle Paul is referring to the armor of the Roman soldier. Remember, Israel was under Roman occupancy, so the reference may have made some of his followers bristle. Nonetheless, it was an excellent example of a soldier ready for combat, as we are called to be (2 Timothy 2:3-4, 1 Timothy 1:18, 1 Peter 1:13, Psalm 18:39, Psalm 144:1, Proverbs 24:11, Isaiah 41:10, Joshua 1:9).

The belt of Truth (John 14:6) gave the soldier extra support, much like the belt that movers and weight lifters wear. The helmet covered the entire face, showing only the eyes, while also providing shade from the sun and protection for the nape of the neck. Our helmet must be put firmly in place by taking every thought captive to Jesus Christ (2 Corinthians 10:5).

The shield was as large as the man using it and was covered in pitch or water in an effort to make it flame resistant. Thus, our shield of faith is as resistant to the flaming arrows of the enemy as it is heavy; much like the arm holding it needing to be strong, our faith must be strong enough to carry our shield.

The Roman soldier’s sandals were not like your average sandals; these had spikes, like today’s soccer shoes. While our spiritual shoes are those of peace, we must be prepared for resistance.

For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart-Hebrews 4:12

The breastplate of faith and love and the helmet of the hope of salvation are also found in 1 Thessalonians 5:8, which I believe were references to Psalm 33:20-22

The garment of praise is found in Isaiah 61:3

The garments of salvation and the robe of righteousness are found in Isaiah 61:10

The cloak of zeal is found in Isaiah 59:17 (The robe of vengeance found in this same verse is not for us to put on, since vengeance belongs to the Lord, as stated in Deuteronomy 32:35).

I pray this blesses you.

SUBTLE AND OVERT WITCHCRAFT

Any dabbling in the occult: playing with an ouija board, bloody mary, charlie charlie, etc. Just once is enough to blow any demonic portal wide open. Do you identify with your zodiac sign and check your horoscope daily? Christians, this also includes that 4 Temperaments nonsense that is widely believed in the church today.
Do you practice reiki, acupuncture, or aromatherapy? Do you burn sage to “cleanse the atmosphere”? Do you practice yoga? Please understand that each pose is a form of worship to Hindu gods. Opening your “chakras” and blanking out your mind as a form of meditation goes against biblical instruction (Deuteronomy 4:19, 12:30-32 and 17:3, 2 Corinthians 6:17 and 10:5, Galatians 4:8-12, Ephesians 5:7-11, Colossians 2:8, 2 Thessalonians 2:15).

Masonry: this is a common generational curse. You do not have to be a mason to suffer spiritual attacks originating from the curses brought on by your ancestors’ involvement in masonry. If you have any masonic paraphernalia, please throw it out immediately, or better yet, destroy it (1 Chronicles 14:12, Acts 19:19).
Carvings, images, and statues: Exodus 20:4 and Deuteronomy 5:8 are very clear. I believe YHVH forbids them because they open doors (portals) in the spirit realm. I had to throw out several mementos from trips to foreign countries after coming to the understanding that I risked opening doors.

The same goes for Mardi Gras beads: you can be sure they are “prayed over” by voodoo priests. Any cursed object in your home will wreak havoc, I guarantee it. We are not to own paintings of Christ like the famous Sacred Heart of Jesus, nor have crucifixes. A well known former satanic priest who is now a devout Catholic states in his testimony how a woman handed him a small picture of Mary and that as soon as he held it in his hand he was transported to the presence of the “Blessed Mother.” These images are portals; do not risk opening them. The Holy Spirit even convicted me of owning a small statue of the Lion of Judah that I had received as a thank you gift for a love offering to an evangelical ministry years ago. It does not matter that you do not bend your knee to any of these: we are forbidden in Scripture to keep them.

As for stained glass: the Greek orthodox believe the icons of biblical depictions on stained glass windows can come to life. Again, these images are portals. It is best to play it safe and not find out if it is indeed possible.

Anklets: they are mentioned in Isaiah 3:16. It is best to play it safe and just not wear them.

Be careful with birthstone jewelry, as well. If you insist on wearing any: anoint each piece with oil, cover it with the blood of Jesus, and break any curses over it.

Perfume: this was a personal revelation. One morning, as I woke up, the Holy Spirit said to me, “Stop wearing perfume. You are not to entice men.” Pray on it.

Keys: Do you sometimes find keys in your home that do not open any door? Do yourself a favor and throw them away. Keys open doors: it is their function. Do not open doors in the spirit realm. Any key that is not in use in your home does not belong there.

Vows and broken promises: your word is binding (Numbers 30:1-2, Deuteronomy 23:23, Psalm 89:34). Ask the Holy Spirit to reveal to you any promises, oaths, or covenants (whether they be emotional, physical, or spiritual) that you may have made with someone, regardless of the type of relationship. Release that person and release yourself. And who has not spoken rashly to a loved one in anger and said something you later regretted? Ask the Lord to forgive you and cancel those words. Learn to keep short accounts with God. Be sensitive to the Holy Spirit.

Pay attention to your dreams. If someone is hurting you in your dream, then they wish to harm you in real life. Someone offering you food in dreams usually means they are doing witchcraft.

Anoint your home on a regular basis. Be sensitive to the Holy Spirit; if He tells you to throw away an object, no matter the sentimental value, do it! It is a cursed object, and in many cases, it was given to you by a witch as a point of contact. That connection also permits the witch to astral project and visit you. When in doubt, toss it out! Again, there are biblical examples of burning occult objects (1 Chronicles 14:12, Acts 19:19). If you feel led and can do this safely, I would recommend it.

Also, whenever you move into a new space or purchase property, anoint that space (walk the perimeter of the property and anoint each side) and remit the sins committed there by the previous owner/resident. Break any curses spoken it and ask the Holy Spirit to reveal any cursed objects left behind, either deliberately or by mistake.

Witches roam the hallways of nursing homes, hospices, and hospitals looking to “steal” the last breath of the dying. By absorbing that life force, they obtain more power, which is their obsession. Remember, their master comes only to steal, kill, and destroy; we can not expect his servants to do any less. Protect your loved ones. Anoint and pray over your elderly family members in nursing homes and your loved ones who are patients in hospitals. Assign guardian angels around their bed for the length of their stay and set up a wall of fire around them (Zechariah 2:5).

The same applies to newborns: parents, be very careful who you allow in the delivery room. I understand that you wish to share this special moment with loved ones; please prayerfully consider the spiritual climate that your baby will be born into. And while you don’t have a say in which doctor and nurse will be present, you can certainly pray for protection. There are many witches and satanists working in the medical field. Please follow the recommendations listed above.

Some witches/warlocks use scramblers. By that, I refer to cell phone jammers that interfere with the phone’s signal and render it powerless. They can hide behind a facade and fool even the most discerning eye. A life devoted to prayer and fasting will prompt the Holy Spirit to reveal a witch/warlock when you haven’t yet caught on. Again, pay attention to your dreams.

Circles represent covenant. This is why we use wedding bands. This is also why witches of all types will draw circles on the floor to perform rituals. I’m wary of any symbols, such as the anarchy symbol, which is in a circle. The same goes for lots of musical bands’ logos, especially heavy metal. This does not mean that every last organization or group is satanic; in many instances, it is simply used in ignorance.

Large Rings and beaded bracelets/necklaces: witches and warlocks use amulets to ward off curses and hexes; likewise, they use talismans as points of contact with the demons they recruit to feed them information and power. Be very careful with these modern-day prophets who never “prophesy” without one of these pieces of jewelry. Ask them about it and watch their reaction.

Mirrors: Witches and warlocks use mirrors to peek into your home and your life. Of course, in order to do so, they need to have established a connection with you. Anoint your mirrors (and windows) regularly. Just a dab will do, and as you anoint each mirror, pronounce out loud that you are covering it with the blood of Christ and forbid any demonic or human spirits to spy on you.

No salt! If your pastor or anyone, for that matter, ever insists in using salt in a ritual or ceremony, politely decline. That is witchcraft, whether they know it or not. They may bring up 2 Kings 2:21. I’m not a fan of using a single verse when potentially playing with fire.

Control/manipulation: do you, wife, pit your children against their father (or vice versa)? Do you practice bedroom blackmail (refuse to have relations with your spouse if they do not fulfill your wishes)? Do you browbeat your spouse and children (this includes nagging)? Do you give your spouse the silent treatment when you’re angry? Then, you inadvertently practice witchcraft. Repent, which means acknowledge and change. This is coming from a woman who has been delivered from the Jezebel spirit.

Always, always pray over your food. Break any curses spoken over it and cast out any harmful items placed into it (whether in the natural or in the spirit). Pray for the food your children will eat that day, whether in school or at someone else’s home. Teach them, in simple terms, and in a way that will not frighten them to pray for protection from harm over their food.

Anoint your television, tablet, and phone screens, especially wherever your children watch shows, movies, or videos. Make sure you pray over every show you allow your kids to watch. Bind demons and break curses and spells that more than likely are placed into these shows, as innocent as they seem. Sit with your kids and watch with them. Pay attention to the graphics and to what is being said.
Listen to what your babies tell you! If your child says, “Mommy, so and so from (his favorite show) just came out of the television and talked to me!”, believe him! He is not making it up or imagining things. (Be careful with imaginary friends. Ask your child if he has one and what it tells him to do.)

Remember, you are the spiritual authority in your home. It is your obligation to make it a safe spiritual atmosphere for your family. I pray this blesses you.
